Best known for its viral Thermal Brush and amassing over 1 billion views on TikTok, WavyTalk partnered with 5WPR to elevate brand awareness and consumer demand in the U.S. 5WPR was tasked with creating a high-impact launch event to celebrate the debut of WavyTalk’s Pro Collection and introduce Andrew Fitzsimons as the brand’s first-ever Pro Brand Ambassador. The event aimed to generate excitement, strengthen relationships with media and influencers, and position the Pro Collection as a leader in professional-grade hair tools.

STRATEGY
5WPR conceptualized and executed an exclusive cocktail event at Brooklyn’s LilliStar, a trendy venue that provided the perfect setting for an immersive brand experience. Guests were introduced to the Pro Collection through live demonstrations by Andrew Fitzsimons, who showcased the Fast Drying Hair Dryer and Pro Steam Hair Straightener Brush. The event atmosphere was elevated with thematic decor, signature cocktails, and gourmet hors d’oeuvres, encouraging attendees to engage and share their experiences on social media. Carefully curated photo-ready moments were integrated throughout the venue, ensuring opportunities for impactful content creation. Attendees left with branded gift bags containing personalized notes and tools from the Pro Collection, leaving a lasting impression.
The event successfully positioned the Pro Collection as a leader in professional-grade hair tools while deepening WavyTalk’s relationships with influential media and key opinion leaders.

The WavyTalk Pro Collection launch event garnered significant media and influencer attention, with over 32 representatives from top-tier outlets, including the TODAY Show, Allure, Byrdie, InStyle, and E! Online, in attendance. High-profile influencers, such as Danielle Athena, Zain, and Jaclyn Mae, amplified the event’s reach through impactful content creation.
On social media, the event resulted in over 60 placements and more than 3.5 million impressions. Coverage highlights included CEW, which featured the event through an Instagram Reel, Story, and TikTok, and The Daily Front Row, which showcased the event both on Instagram and in a full feature article.
Press coverage from the event also achieved outstanding results, securing 13 additional placements on outlets such as StyleCaster, NewBeauty, and PEOPLE. Altogether, the event delivered a total of 1,276,796,143 impressions, solidifying the Pro Collection as a standout in the professional-grade hair tools space.
